Who are Polar Plunge Sponsors?

No need to freeze your tail off!  You can still support Special Olympics of Onslow County in our Polar Plunge through a Sponsorship.

There are five sponsorship tiers, with special incentives for each:

Platinum ~ $2,500 and up

Gold ~ $1,500 to $2,499

Silver ~ $500 to $1,499

Supporter ~ $200 to $499

Friend ~ $50 to $199

Each successive sponsorship tier includes increasing levels of year-long advertising and at least one special guest pass to our 2012 Polar Plunge.

NOTE:  ALL SPONSORSHIP contributions must be received NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 15, 2011 to appear on any T-shirts or Advertising for 2012.

Platinum–$2,500 and up

  • Logo/name placement on Polar Plunge 2012 tee shirts and volunteer tee-shirts for year round (2012) Onslow County Special Olympics events
  • Marketing Material will show Platinum Sponsors as “Presenting Sponsors”   i.e.  Onslow County Special Olympics 2012 Polar Plunge presented by….(logo/name)–
  • Identified as Platinum Sponsor in all Onslow County Special Olympics marketing such as newspaper ads, posters, flyers, radio/TV spots (if used)
  • Recognition as Platinum Sponsor at all Onslow County Special Olympics events for one year
  • Logo/name displayed on Banner at all Onslow County Special Olympics events for one year
  • Allowed signage/banner placement at Onslow County Special Olympics events for one year
  • 10 Special guest passes to Polar Plunge event on January 7, 2012
  • Allow one team to participate in Polar Plunge at no cost
  • Logo/name on SOOC website for one year
  • Right of first refusal for 2013
  • Receive stage mention at Onslow County Special Olympics events as Platinum Sponsor
  • Allowed the use of Beach Cabana (Onslow Beach) for Polar Plunge January 2012
  • Receive detailed after action report for Polar Plunge 2012.

Gold–$1500 to $2499

  • Logo/name placement on Polar Plunge 2012 tee shirts and volunteer tee-shirts for year round (2012) Onslow County Special Olympics events
  • Identified as Gold Sponsor in all Onslow County Special Olympics marketing such as newspaper ads, posters, flyers, radio/TV spots (if used) -Recognition as Gold Sponsor at all Onslow county Special Olympics events for one year
  • Receive stage mention at Onslow County Special Olympics events as Gold Sponsor
  • 6 Special guest passes to Polar Plunge event on January 7, 2012
  • name displayed on Banner at Special Olympics Onslow County events for one year

Silver–$500 to $1,499

  • name placement on Polar Plunge 2012 tee shirts and volunteer tee-shirts for year round (2012) Onslow County Special Olympics events
  • Receive stage mention at Onslow County Special Olympics events as Silver Sponsor
  • 2 Special guest passes to Polar Plunge event on January 7, 2012
  • name on all Polar Plunge 2012 print advertising
  • name displayed on Banner at Special Olympics Onslow County events for one year
  • Identified as Silver Sponsor in all Onslow County Special Olympics marketing such as newspaper ads, posters, flyers, radio/TV spots (if used)

Supporters–$200 to $499

  • name for 1 year on Polar Plunge 2012 T-shirts and Volunteer T-shirts for all Onslow County Special Olympics events
  • 1 Special pass to Polar Plunge event on January 7, 2012
  • name on all Polar Plunge 2012 print advertising
  • name displayed on Banner at Special Olympics Onslow County events for one year

Friends–$100 to $199

  • name for 1 year on Polar Plunge 2012 T-shirts and Volunteer T-shirts for all Onslow County Special Olympics events
  • name displayed at Special Olympics Onslow County events for one year
